There is an insanely huge number of people who think that they need to go to a top school to be successful. The ones who are already 30+ and graduated from an average school, working in an average position with an average salary, think that this is their best.
They keep telling themselves that they missed it — destined to be and have an average life.
This is very sad and not true.
The more I get to know and learn about people who are successful, it becomes very obvious that a high IQ or being a top college alumnus is not a requirement. Of course, it is always a plus to have a high level of intellect. But you don’t have to be great at math, a genius in physics, or in the top 1% of the world’s population to make a great living.
There are other things that are more important than the above, and they are learnable, acquirable skills. Which means you can master them and thus change your life.
Would you keep going if no one clapped? Most people quit when no one’s watching — that’s why they never win.
